My Husband Wh!pped Me 20 Times Because I Stood Up to His Venom

My Husband Wh!pped Me 20 Times Because I Stood Up to His Venom-Mouthed Mistress. With Bl00d Running Down My Back, I Called My Billionaire Father: “Dad, Stop Protecting Him… Destroy His Life.” Five Minutes Later, My Husband Fell Apart When He Discovered Who I Really Was...

“If you refuse to kneel and apologize to my mistress, I’ll show you exactly what your place is inside this house.”

Those were the final words my husband, Nathan Brooks, said before he grabbed the riding crop mounted on the wall as decoration in the main living room of our Beverly Hills mansion.

The first str!ke tore across my back before I could even believe Nathan—the man I had married before God and half of New York’s business circle—was actually capable of hurting me.

The second knocked every bit of air from my chest.

By the tenth, I was kneeling on the cold marble floor.

By the twentieth, bl00d had marked the same floor I had personally picked out when I still thought this house would become our home.

A few feet away, Madison was smiling.

Madison Blake, the woman Nathan introduced everywhere as his “image consultant,” stood beside him in a champagne-colored dress I recognized immediately. I had bought it with my own credit card, never realizing it was meant for her.

“Poor Sophia,” she said, her voice sweet but full of poison. “She still wants to play the victim.”

I forced myself to look up. My back felt like fire, my lips shook, but the deepest pain was not in my body.

It was seeing my husband look at me like I was trash.

“She hum!liated me at dinner,” Nathan said, gripping the crop tighter. “In front of my business partners.”

“Madison told everyone I was worthless because I hadn’t given you children,” I replied, my voice almost breaking.

Madison gave a soft little laugh.

“I only said people were asking questions. After three years of marriage, it’s natural.”

“You also said I married Nathan for his money.”

Nathan tilted his head and smiled with cold contempt.

“Didn’t you?”

That blow left no bl00d, but it broke something much deeper inside me.

For three years, I had been his perfect wife.

Quiet.

Elegant.

Always standing one step behind him at business dinners in Manhattan, luxury openings in Miami, and charity events in Newport.

I smiled when he spoke.

I clapped when he accepted awards.

I never asked to be named in company documents, never demanded shares, never showed off my family name.

Nathan loved telling people he had met me “when I had nothing,” that I was a simple girl from Savannah whom he had turned into a society wife.

That story helped him.

It made him look powerful.

He never asked why my mother’s surname could not be found online.

He never questioned why banks suddenly approved impossible loans after we got married.

He never wondered why men who once ignored his calls suddenly wanted dinner with him the moment I entered the room.

Madison moved closer, crouched in front of me, and lifted my chin with two fingers.

“Say you’re sorry,” she whispered. “Maybe then I’ll convince Nathan to let you live in the Palm Springs house after the divorce.”

The word cut straight through me.

“Divorce?”

Nathan threw a folder onto the floor beside my bl00d-stained hand.

“It’s finished, Sophia. I’m tired of dragging around a wife who’s good for nothing. Madison is pregnant.”

The room went silent.

Madison placed one hand over her flat stomach and smiled like she had just been crowned queen.

For one moment, the pain disappeared.

Only clarity remained.

Everything I had tolerated for love, loyalty, and hope turned into ash.

I looked at the folder.

Then at the riding crop.

Then at my husband.

And I understood that my father had been right from the beginning.

With shaking fingers, I reached for my phone near the sofa.

Nathan laughed loudly.

“What now? Are you calling the police? Go ahead. Tell them your millionaire husband had to discipline his hysterical wife.”

I looked at him through split lips and still managed to smile.

“No,” I said. “I’m calling my father.”

Nathan’s laughter stopped.

My father answered on the second ring.

I swallowed the taste of bl00d, forced myself to breathe, and said:

“Dad, do what you told me you would. Ruin his life.”

On the other end of the line, my father answered with one calm sentence:

“Stay exactly where you are, sweetheart. It’s already begun.”

And then Nathan’s phone began ringing nonstop.

He had no idea what was about to happen...
