"I asked all of you here for more than a wedding."
The lights dimmed.
Massive screens descended from the ceiling.
A video began to play.
Children laughing.
Families receiving keys to new homes.
Scholarship students walking across graduation stages.
Small businesses reopening after disasters.
One by one, the guests recognized familiar faces.
Then Clara spoke.
"My parents built their company believing that success means nothing unless it changes someone else's life."
She paused.
"When they passed away, I inherited more than money."
"I inherited responsibility."
The final slide appeared.

Instead of fireworks...

The ballroom fell silent.
Several guests quietly wiped away tears.
